Juniata Township - Trash Service

Brush Collection Service - EXTENDED HOURS for 2024

Juniata Township provides free disposal of brush for township residents only.
- Location: Sheridan Rd Dump, across from 2216 S Sheridan Rd, Caro, MI 48723
- Date/Time: the 1st Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM , during the months of April through November.
- What is accepted?
  - Yard waste
  - Trees/limbs
  - Untreated lumber (no other material can be connect to or embedded in the lumber, such as drywall or nails)

*Denmark Township on July 20, 2024, at Zwerk Farms 7647 Sanilac Road Vassar, MI 48768. Collection held from 7:00 AM– 11:30 AM.

* Elkland Township on August 3, 2024, at the Elkland Township cemetery, East edge of Cass City, 6868 Cass City Road Cass City, MI 48726.

Collection held from 9:00 AM– 2:00 PM.

* Village of Gagetown on TBD, at the DPW Garage parking lot, 4771 Gifford Street Gagetown, MI 48735 Collection held from TBD

Proof of residency in Tuscola County is required.
Limit of 7 Clean Residential Tires Per Vehicle.
No tires that are taller 48 inches.
No tires that are wider than 12 inch rims.
No airplane, tracks, loader, forestry, golf cart, logging, solid, earthmover, or mining tires can be accepted.
Tires must be clean and not full of water or debris.
These tire collections are made possible by a tire grant from EGLE, and funding from Tuscola County Mosquito Abatement.

Recycling

Recycling is provided in conjunction with Juniata Township, and Tuscola County Recycling.
- Location: Juniata Township Hall, 1971 S Ringle Rd, Caro, MI 48723
- Data/Time: the 1st Tuesday of the month from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Donations of bottles & cans are very much appreciated and collected every recycling day for our Juniata Township Hall Maintenance & Renovation fund.
